Like many little girls who were born in the 1960s, Melanie had a small collection
of Suzy Homemaker toy appliances. Old photographs from birthdays and Christmases past
document the times they were received.
All of the appliances are in very good shape and function properly. The sink/dishwasher
and clothes washer can both use "D" cell batteries to make the motors work, and you can
run water through them. A couple "C" cells power the blender. Even in the days before
product liability lawsuits, the designers for these toys were sure to avoid exposed metal
parts.
